Poinsettas

I remember every year when I was a kid, we'd make a trip to Flowerland to pick up poinsettas to bring to both of my grandmas.  So I thought I would make a flower for each of them!  :)

Back to work...lots of cake orders for this weekend!  :)

Great designs, Bren! My Grandma had beautiful Poinsettias just outside her kitchen window... some were red, some white and some were very tall... did you know they are from Mexico? We name them Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) or Flor de Pascua (Easter Flower)...

Bea, I had no idea they were from Mexico! For us, up here, they are pretty flowers that come out just at Christmas time and are always in containers. I don't think I've ever seen them growing in the ground! Maybe on my trip down there I'll see them! :)
